A place that will never be a shame by the tourists. Located at Island of Mindanao specifically at Zamboanga Peninsula. A place like no other has a wonder that will satisfy your senses. This place that I am referring to is none other than my hometown, Pagadian City



  Starting your journey, if you want to encounter the nature, you can visit the amazing island of Dao Dao located in Yllana Bay. An island 7-10 minutes ride by the motorboat from the sea port.

Next, you can have a trek into the cold water of Pulacan Falls. It is located near at the army camp of Barangay Pulacan Pagadian City. While riding a bus you can see a glimpse of it surrounded by lush vegetation, huge trees and thick forest.

 


On the other hand, if you want to have an awesome experience riding there unique tricycle that is inclined 25 -40 degree angle and experience a roller coaster feeling with the uphill and downhill terrain geographic location of the city.



Climbing to Mt. Palpalan. You will find there communication towers stand tall at its peak. Standing 700 foot above the sea level, it provides a breathtaking view of the city especially the Yllana Bay.



 
During night time, a very relaxing moment will be shown to tourists at Plaza Luz Pagadian City where dancing fountain is located. The dancing fountain started at 7 pm and will last up to an hour. Dancing fountain is more beautiful during Christmas season.

Aga Khan Museum -Mindanao State University Marawi City

I am very proud to say that I am an MSU’an. Aga Khan is just located on where I am currently studying. Aga Khan Museum is one of the prides of Mindanao State University. June 13, 1962 the museum was officially opened and was founded by Dr. Mamitua D. Saber and he was one of the pioneering of the Mindanao State University. The museum was later renamed in honour of Prince Shah Karim Al Hussaini.   Old but beautiful artefacts of the Meranao are being stored in the museum. Swords, plates, cups, and other things regularly used by their ancestors are there. The materials they used for fishing, for farming is there. The construction of their houses and materials use during celebrations such as weddings and the like are being preserved as well.  On the other hand a monkey eating eagle is also conserved.
